About HarrisPrime

One person, your policies on the table, and enough time to read each one properly.

Why I Started Reading Policies Out Loud

Insurance paperwork is written for the insurer first. I started HarrisPrime because people around me kept paying for auto, home, health and life policies they could not describe in their own words.

So I sit with one policy at a time and say what it does in plain speech. What it pays for, what it leaves to you, and what has to happen before it pays anything.

I do not rank insurers and I do not push a product. My part is the explaining. The choosing stays with you.

Three Things I Hold To

Whatever policy lands in front of me, the way I go through it stays the same.

Plain Speech First

If a term needs a dictionary, I swap it for words you would use at the kitchen table. The policy wording comes after you know what it means.

Your Pace, Not Mine

Nothing is timed while I go through a page with you. Stop me, go back, or leave a policy for another day.

Both Sides of the Page

Every policy lists what it pays for and what it does not. I read you both lists, because the second one is where surprises live.

Who Tends to Reach Out to Me

There is no single kind of household here. These are the situations I hear about most.

New Drivers and New Cars

A first policy or a new vehicle raises questions about liability, collision and what a lender expects.

People Buying a First Home

Closing paperwork arrives fast. I slow it down and go through dwelling, belongings and liability with you.

People Between Jobs

When a workplace health plan ends, the options can look alike. I lay them out next to each other.

Growing Families

A new child or a new mortgage changes who relies on your income, and that is a life insurance question.
